Kutani Incense Holder SANSUI

The incense holders are inspired by elements of the natural world around us, such as plants, the moon, and clouds. Each piece is handcrafted using antique moulds that were originally made and used over 100 years ago.

We introduce traditional Japanese crafts to the world through sustainable design, working with a century-old factory and using natural, eco-friendly materials. Hanasaka Toseki, the raw material for Kutani ware, can only be quarried in limited mines, so we upcycle this precious clay by creating glazes from raw materials that were once discarded in the clay-making process.
